Description

Epoxy zinc-rich primer is one of the most widely used products in industrial anti-corrosion. It is suitable for steel rust prevention in atmospheric environment and is widely used in anti-corrosion and weather-resisting coating of general anti-corrosion, chemical atmosphere, marine environment. Epoxy zinc-rich primers are superior in terms of rust resistance, adhesion, mechanical properties and supporting properties.

The main purpose

Epoxy zinc-rich primer is suitable for corrosion and rust-preventing primers for steel components under atmospheric conditions, especially harsh corrosive environments or medium and long-term weathering requirements. Such as steel bridge primer, tank anti-corrosion primer, container anti-corrosion primer, steel anti-rust paint, hull primer, seaport facilities, anti-corrosion primer.

 

Construction process

☆ Surface treatment

The surface treatment of epoxy zinc-rich primer steel shall meet the Sa2.5 grade specified in GB/T 8923, which is inconvenient for jet rust removal, and manual and power tool derusting to St3 level specified in GB/T 8923, steel surface roughness. For Rz 30μm ~ 75μm, and remove the surface of the oil.

After sandblasting is completed, the sandblasting residue is removed and the dust on the surface is cleaned using a vacuum cleaner or oil-free, anhydrous compressed air.

 

☆ Primer coating

Epoxy zinc-rich primer is recommended to use spraying method, air spraying or airless spraying. The film thickness is suitable for 70-80μm. The paint film is painted after 24 hours.

 

☆ Intermediate paint

The coating interval should not be too long. Observe whether the surface of the epoxy zinc-rich primer has zinc salts. If any, it should be promptly removed. Epoxy cloud iron middle paint was selected and sprayed 1-2 to achieve the specified film thickness.

 

☆ Top coat

Topcoats are generally made of anti-corrosion coatings with good decorativeness and excellent weather resistance, such as acrylic polyurethane topcoats, fluorocarbon topcoats, polysiloxane topcoats, etc. It is advisable to spray 2 coats, the paint film is smooth and flat, and the color is uniform.
