Description
Product introduction
Water-based general-purpose epoxy rust-inhibiting primer is a water-based two-component epoxy primer that is used as a primer or intermediate paint for water-based anti-corrosion coatings. It contains active non-toxic anti-rust pigments such as zinc phosphate and aluminum tripolyphosphate and Rust additives.
Scope of application
It is suitable for anti-corrosion primer or intermediate paint on the surface of steel, aluminum, galvanized steel and sprayed metal on waterline. Can be used with waterborne epoxy topcoats.
Feature Description
1. Gray or red.
2. Can form a tough anti-rust film.
3. With water as the dispersion medium, incombustible and non-explosive, water can be used to dilute and clean coating equipment.
4. The construction process is non-polluting and it is safe and environmentally friendly.
Instructions
Airless spraying and brushing or roller coating are recommended. Traditional spraying is not recommended. Since the waterborne paint can easily flow away from the sharp corners, it is necessary to polish the corners and precoat. During construction and drying, the environment is preferably above 10°C and relative humidity below 80%. The temperature of the substrate should be more than 3°C above the dew point and good ventilation is ensured. Avoid construction at night when temperatures are low, especially when there is condensation or rain. The durability of waterborne paints depends to a large extent on good construction. For example, in the sharp corners, the construction of the rivets and the jump-welding parts needs to be extra fine, so as to avoid that the paint film of each degree of paint is too thick, it is better to paint it again. The ratio of the main paint and curing agent is 10:1, and it must be used up within 2-3 hours after dispensing. Can add about 10% of water, after the tool is used, it should be cleaned in time.
